About Eric Burba
Eric started his career with Rate in 2003 right out college working in the Chicago headquarters. He cut his teeth being mentored by the company's top producers at the time and worked on the sales team for one of the top loan originators in the country for many years. It's safe to say he learned the business from the very best of the best at an early age. Eric's big energetic personality is what sets him apart from all of his competition and one of the driving factors to his constant success. He attracts people that want to want to work and succeed with him. His no-nonsense approach to having fun and making the mortgage process easy and enjoyable has lead to many accolades throughout the years as he has helped thousands of happy clients obtain the dream of home ownership. In 2009 Eric moved to Jackson Hole, Wy to focus on setting up his own office. Eric was able to easily expand his reputation and extensive lending knowledge to the Mountain West area and excel in his new home base. From 2013 to present day Eric has been personally recognized by the Scotsman Guide and Mortgage Executive Magazine as being in the Top 1% of all originators in the country for his closed loan volume and the #1 Mortgage lender in the state of Wyoming. Mortgage Originator News has consistently published him on their list of the Top 200 Lenders in the country. Eric has also been recognized by Rate as both a Presidents Club and Chairman's Club level producer consistently closing well over $30 million in loan production with career highlights of 2020 volume at $157 million and $160 million in 2021. When Eric isn't busy working he is generally spreading Good Vibes to all those he comes into contact with and hanging with his friends and family. He is an avid backcountry snowboarder, global fly fishing enthusiast, trail runner and mountain biker, record collector and funk DJ, and a huge fan of going to see live music.
