About Chris Hutchens
Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington's Cameron School of Business with a degree in Finance. He lives in Wilmington, NC with his wife Sandy and three children Gracie, Maggie and Colby. When Chris isn't working he can often be seen running, playing basketball or playing golf. After graduating from college, Chris went to work for NationsBank (now Bank of America) and then began his career in the mortgage industry in 1997 with Alpha Mortgage Corporation. In 2013 Chris made the move to Rate. Chris now manages an office of several loan officers and many great support staff that have been with him for years. Chris has been recognized as NC's #1 Mortgage Lender many times and consistently among the tops in the nation year after year. Chris believes the mortgage process doesn't have to be complicated or difficult. Expectations must be set day one. With his vast knowledge of the industry, understanding of the process and an incredible, seasoned staff, his clients are handled with care all along the way.
