Chris Woods, Vice President at Rate in Chicago, brings two decades of experience in the mortgage industry to his clients. Beginning his career at Horizon Financial Center, Chris moved to Rate in 2006, where he ranks in the top 1% of mortgage loan officers nationwide.
Chris can help buyers across all 50 states, but his personal licenses include multiple states, including Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Known for his professionalism and deep industry knowledge, Chris leads a dedicated team that includes Kathy Zajkowski, Stephanie Caliendo, and Jennifer Zofkie.
Chris remains actively engaged in both community and industry affairs. He is a member of the Friends of Blaine Elementary School Board, the Lakeview Roscoe Chamber of Commerce, and the Asian Realtors Association. Additionally, he devotes his time to coaching local soccer and baseball teams through AYSO and Welles Park Baseball.
Chris is an annual sponsor of Welles Park Baseball, Council on Recovery, Texas State Baseball golf outing, Chicago Police golf outing, Audubon Elementary and Blaine Elementary.
A graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Journalism, Chris resides in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood with his wife, Amy, and their son.
