Tim Sorenson oversees Rate’s Pacific West Division, which includes California, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. A financial and mortgage industry veteran of 21 years, Tim started his career as an originator before working his way into executive management level positions. He credits much of his early success to dynamic mentors who helped drive and shape his own leadership style.

The Orange County, Calif., native joined Rate in 2017 and rapidly built one of the most successful regions in the country. He has a proven track record of developing collaborative, engaging and top-performing teams.

“I’m most passionate about working with Rate to help my employees scale their businesses, reach their fullest potential and accomplish goals they never thought possible,” said Tim. “I strive to help create industry leaders who will continue propelling the company to even greater heights.”

Tim is married to his high school sweetheart, Stephanie, and has two daughters, Keira and Kaitlyn. Tim is a die-hard sports fan, loves playing golf, and enjoys fine dining and travel with his family. Tim and Stephanie are dedicated to supporting local charities focused on providing services to underprivileged families and children in need.
