Paul Anastos has been on the forefront of innovation within the housing industry for over a decade, specializing in developing technology solutions and transforming businesses into industry powerhouses. As Chief Innovation Officer, Paul focuses on differentiating Rate from its competitors by enhancing the Company’s suite of proprietary technology and developing contemporary marketing solutions that promote its brand and mortgage professionals.

Paul collaborates with Executive Management and Rate’s world-class technology team to modernize the mortgage industry, implementing tools such as the company’s award-winning FlashCloseSM platform, which revolutionizes the closing table by giving borrowers the ability to remotely review, sign and notarize closing documents.

“Ever since starting in residential lending in 2003, I’ve always respected the business that Rate built,” said Paul. “The company’s values, goals, and beliefs are consistent with what I feel is most important in lending: providing the best products at the best rates for our customers while caring, working hard, and holding ourselves accountable. Paul graduated from Bentley University where he earned his BS in Accounting. He is a proud father of two children, Colin and Luca. As a former competitive athlete, Paul always strives for personal and professional challenges. He’s an avid golfer and has recently found a fascination with adventure racing. So far, he’s competed in an 80-mile kayak, mountain bike, and hiking competition.
